Graffiti Name Walls: The Beginning

Project: Graffiti Name Walls

7th grade students have started creating these brick walls as the first stage of our project.  Students learned about graffiti art and since we can't make real graffiti (it's ILLEGAL!) we made our own walls that we can create our art on.  We used masking tape to outline the bricks and after painting our brick texture we will remove the tape revealing the "mortar" lines.  

Next: We will add paint drips, drops and splats before designing our names which will get collaged to our walls.
