IAEA Student Art Show

A huge congratulations goes out to 6th grade student Emily Kwazny, whose artwork was one of over 600 submitted artworks selected for the Illinois Art Education Association student art show in the fall.  Her monochromatic self-portrait will be on display at the fall conference in Normal, Illinois where over 500 art educators from around the state gather to attend and present workshops and sessions to learn together as artists and teachers.

After the conference, Emily's artwork will travel to a new location each month making it's way around the entire state of Illinois!  She will be honored at an artists reception on Saturday, November 5th.  Nice work Emily!

This is the second year in a row that a Hester artist has been featured in the show.  Ms. Zill is proud of all of her artists!
